The Royal Oak at Downton is situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest in Hampshire, and only a short distance from the local coastline which looks out to the Solent and famed Isle of Wight “Needles”. Local landlady Kathy Waters took over the pub, mid June in 2012 and has now gathered a close-knit team with a primary focus on good honest food, beer and a warm cosy environment for everyone.
